MATCH GEAR ~ BRANDING
MatchGear, a sports apparel company rooted in the rugby market, wanted to reposition its brand for broader athletic audiences. The objective was to create a modern, fluid identity system capable of extending across multiple sporting-apparel categories.
The logo was designed as a segmented system centered on a distinctive mark—an homage to the brand’s rugby origins—engineered to work independently or alongside the wordmark. From there, we built a comprehensive graphic system and developed a range of branded applications to support the brand’s expansion.
